The Bridgwater and District Branch of Cats Protection is one of over 250 groups of Cats Protection volunteers in the UK rescuing, treating, neutering and re-homing unwanted, abandoned or needy cats and kittens.
The area we cover is TA5 - TA9.
The branch is operated by a small but very dedicated team of volunteers dealing with the day to day needs of the branch such as welfare, fostering, neutering, lost & found, fundraising and even the production of our branch newsletter.
Cat's Protection does NOT receive assistance from either the Government or the National Lottery. Instead we rely entirely on the generosity of the general public in order to achieve our aims. Out or work mousers want job on small holding
We are always looking to find suitable homes for our "wildies", so we would love to hear from anyone who can help. When considering prospective homes for outside cats, it is necessary that the cats: -
will be in a suitable, safe location free from poisons and any other hazardous substance, be fed twice a day and have access to fresh water at all times
have adequate shelter and have their welfare monitored reularly.
